Join Our Co-Op
We warmly invite you to join the Providence Christian Academy Co-op located at Providence Baptist Church, located off Highway 49 in Harrisburg, North Carolina. This drop-off program offers flexible core instruction (PK-6), engaging enrichment activities, and elective courses (PK-12). Come be part of a vibrant educational community tailored to your family’s needs. Registration is now open for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Program Schedule
Our 2025-2026 school year runs Monday through Thursday, from September 3rd through May 14th. Classes are offered between 9:00 AM and 1:45 PM:
- Monday & Wednesday: Core instruction (math, reading, science, social studies).
- Tuesday: Core enrichment (book studies, math centers, extra help, activities).
- Thursday: Electives (e.g., Art, Theater, Bible, PE). Choose 1–4 electives or stay for the full day.
Pick individual classes or the full program based on your needs. Every day will include devotions, lunch, and recess.
Curriculum Overview
We will be using "The Good and the Beautiful" curriculum as the foundation for our core academic program. This comprehensive, multi-age curriculum fosters an engaging learning environment, seamlessly integrating science and social studies for students across various grade levels. It emphasizes grade-specific skill development in reading and mathematics, ensuring tailored instruction that supports each student’s academic growth and mastery of essential concepts.
Registration Fee
A one-time registration fee of $200 is required for all new students enrolling in Core Programs. Students enrolling exclusively in elective courses will incur a separate registration fee for each elective course.
Core Program Tuition (TK-6)
The following table outlines the monthly tuition for Core Program attendance options:
- Four Days: Monday–Thursday - $450/mo
- Three Days: Mon/Tues/Wed or Mon/Wed/Thurs - $350/mo
- Two Days: Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs - $250/mo
- One Day: Tues or Thurs - $150/mo
Elective Courses (TK-12)
- Individual Elective Courses: $50 per course per month.
- Elective Registration Fee: A separate registration fee for each elective course applies for students enrolling exclusively in electives. This fee is waived for students enrolled in any Core Program option (two, three, or four days per week).

Additional Information
- Thursday is not considered a Core Program day for the purposes of waiving elective registration fees. Students enrolling exclusively for Thursday classes will incur the elective registration fee for each course.
- All registration or supply fees are non-refundable.
- 10% Providence Baptist Church Member Discount: Available to active members of Providence Baptist Church. Cannot be combined with the sibling discount.
- 10% Sibling Discount: Applies to each child after the first enrolled child. Cannot be combined with the PBC member discount.
