This will be my 9th year at Providence Preschool! I feel so honored to be a part of such a special place where children learn and grow all while learning of God's love each day. I am origianlly from Maryland, where I attended Towson University, studying Early Childhood Education.  I moved to North Carolina 10 years ago. I have 3 children, Noah, Eli & Gabriel. All 3 of my boys have attended Providence Preschool!  I am so excited for another wonderful school year!

I have an Associate’s Degree in the Healthcare field specializing in Administrative work, and enjoyed 15 years as a Medical Office Manager/Medical Assistant. After moving to Charlotte 24 years ago, I decided I had another calling…. motherhood! We have 3 children Jordan, Morgan, and Ryan. My special interests include: Being a Plexus Ambassador, reading, painting, cooking/baking, gardening, crafting, and finding a cure for Neurofibromatosis! I spent many hours at our children’s elementary schools volunteering, tutoring, as a PTA board member and treasurer, and classroom grade parent. I found my little niche of heaven at Providence Preschool 10 years ago. I have worn many hats at our school. I started out as an office aide and substitute teacher and moved into teaching. Three years ago, I moved back into the office and took on the Specials Instruction. I love watching each child grow in knowledge and in their spiritual life. It is such a privilege to be a part of their learning journey! I enjoy watching them come into school their first day nervous and shy, and graduate proud and confidant children of God! I still cry at each graduation.  I am so blessed to be a part of a work community that prays each morning, lifts each other up when necessary, and get as many hugs as my arms can hold! I can’t thank you all enough for entrusting your child to our care.

Ms. Christina

Hi, this will be my fourth year working at Providence Preschool.  It has been a wonderful place of refuge for me.  I love going to work everyday and seeing all the little ones grow and learn new things.  I am very blessed to be a part of their world for this little while.  I have a degree in Business Administration.  I started out as a substitute teacher and office staff.  Last year, I was given a two year old class of my own and I had a blast.  It was a wonderful experience but I decided to go back to the office this year since my boy is still very young.  I have two kids, a girl and a boy. My daughter is 9 and my son is 3.  Maybe one day I can go back to being a teacher.  Whatever it is, I trust the Lord will show us our path in life.

  Ms. Jen

Hello! My name is Jen Edwards, and I am very excited to start my new journey with Providence Preschool! I have 4 years experience in preschool education, including 3 years of summer camps (fun! fun!). My husband, Jeremy, and I have 2 kids. Our son Jacob is 7 years old, and our daughter Jordyn is 6 years old (going on 16!). We have a very sweet dog, "Toby", and a cuddly black cat, "Coalie".

Prior to teaching preschool, I was a Veterinary Technician in Pittsburgh, PA. GO STEELERS!

Each morning before my feet hit the floor, I thank Jesus for saving me and the abundance of blessings He has given me. One of my favorite Bible verses is Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people".
